Ben’s life has revolved around sport for over two decades. His passion for all things physical started at a very early age – Ben was selected to play football for Oxfordshire at primary school and has been a very successful member of Oxford City Athletics Club since the age of 9.
In more recent years, Ben has specialised in strength based sports; he represented England as an under 23 discus thrower, has been a member of his local rugby team for over 10 years and most recently has earned success in the sport of strongman. His achievements include:

- Englands Strongest Man
- Worlds Natural Strongest Man
- Worlds Strongest Man Competitor
Ben works as a full-time firefighter for Oxfordshire fire service, a responsibility he has held for 8 years. As well as fighting fires and rescuing cats, Ben works as a fitness adviser for the fire service.
Ben is a REPs Level 3 qualified personal trainer, with extensive knowledge in powerlifting, olympic weightlifting and plyometrics. He is also a qualified athletics coach and a trained first aider.
